The next set of negatives in this box dated June-July 1948, are football practice related.
Joel reminds us that he’s still working hard on his photography portfolio.

And Joel got finally his first portrait of Amos Alonzo Stagg, the “Grand Old Man of Football”, head coach for the Pacific Tigers from 1933 to 1946, and Stockton College coach from 1953 to 1960.
This of course brings in question the date of this images as Alonzo Stagg was supposedly in Pennsylvania, coaching with his son Paul.

The June/July 1948 phase has set in. Joel managed to do a bunch of candids around the COP pool.

All the above images are copied or printed, and range from candid to casually posed. There’s no name information on the box.
There are one more related subject in this box, keeping this for next blog post.
Cheers !
